In Raleigh, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dr Camp and his team worked together seamlessly to create a pain free experience for a complex issue with my tooth. They followed up with me multiple times to make sure my recovery went smoothly. I highly recommend them for oral surgery.

Dr. Camp and staff are absolutely wonderful. Everyone was very gentle and kind with me. I had my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday and from what I can recall it was quick and easy! They knocked me out (very thankful for sedation ππ½) and it honestly felt like I was in and out in no time. I barely have any swelling and almost no pain. The only thing thatβs uncomfy are my jaw muscles from my mouth being open for a bit. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Camp!

Love Dr. Camp and his staff at Raleigh Oral Surgery. He did a tooth extraction and it was pretty painless for me. He is a very kind, caring, compassionate person. Outstanding chair side manner. Really made me feel at ease during my appointments. His staff was excellent.

Iβve always been extremely anxious about going to the dentist due to a traumatic experience I had as a child, so walking into any dental office is never easy for me. However, my recent experience completely changed my perspective. Dr. Stewart, along with Ann and Shalee, were truly phenomenal from start to finish. I came in with an infected wisdom tooth, and the entire team handled everything quickly and efficiently while still making me feel genuinely cared for. What stood out the most was their compassion, they took the time to listen when I shared a bit about my past dental trauma and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, safe, and relaxed throughout the entire process. Their care didnβt stop after the procedure. The team followed up with me a few hours after my surgery. They continued to check in over the next two days, which meant so much and really showed how dedicated they are to their patientsβ well-being. I canβt recommend them enough, especially if youβre someone who feels anxious about dental visits. This team truly sets the standard for compassionate care.

Had a great experience getting my wisdom teeth out! I was very nervous about the procedure, but the staff were all so kind and supportive it really put me at ease. Everyone from the front desk to the oral surgeon assistant to the oral surgeon was awesome. Dr. Stewart was very thorough in explaining the whole process and took all of my questions very seriously. I never felt rushed. I wish I could remember my oral surgeon assistantβs name, but she was amazing! Very thankful to have had this office recommended to me! Side note: Also appreciated the team accommodating a quick schedule for me - I had my consultation midday Thursday and teeth were removed the next morning!
